Armed forces

The New Shropshire Armed Forces are small, but historic.

They are ceremonially led by the Governor as Commander-in-Chief, and managed by the War Office.

Royal New Shropshire Navy

The RNSN helps promote the values of New Shropshire as well as providing critical defence and lifesaving abilities.

Founded in 1818, it is easily recognisable by the white ensign flown on its ships.  It is headquartered in Poole, England, a town renowned for its maritime heritage.

The RNSN is ceremonially led by the Governor as Lord Admiral of New Shropshire, but is professionally led by the Commodore of the RNSN, Commodore Jeremy FitzGerald.

Royal New Shropshire Reigment

The RNSR is a reserve regiment ready to respond to any military threats to New Shropshire.  It contains few standing personnel, but is prepared to respond to a variety of circumstances.

Its notable formations include the Maritime Detachment, which is attached to the Royal New Shropshire Navy as naval infantry.

The RNSN is ceremonially led by the Governor as Lord Marshal of New Shropshire, but is professionally led by the Colenol of the RNSN, Colenol Steven FitzGerald.
