Government

New Shropshire is managed by a small and dedicated goverment, ultimately led by the Governor.  

The current Governor, Sir Victor FitzGerald, has held the post for over 20 years.

HM Governor

The Governor of New Shropshire is an official appointed in the name of HM the King to lead New Shropshire and manage its executive functions.  The current Governor is Sir Victor FitzGerald.

The Governor is supported by the Vice-Governor, who also holds the post of High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.  The current Vice-Governor is Charles FitzGerald.

Assembly of New Shropshire

The Assembly is the democratic legislature for New Shropshire.  It is unicameral, meaning it has one chamber, and represents the local population.

It is led by the Speaker of the Assembly.

Interior Office

The Interior Office manages all internal affairs of New Shropshire.  This includes wildlife, demographics, internal politics, and law enforcement.

It is led by the Secretary for the Interior.  

State Office

The State Office manages all external and foreign affairs of New Shropshire.  This includes embassies, diplomats, and treaty organisations. 

It is led by the Secretary of State.

War Office

The War Office manages all defence affairs of New Shropshire.  This includes the Royal New Shropshire Navy, the Royal New Shropshire Regiment, and defence partnerships. 

It is led by the Secretary for War.

Revenue Office

The Revenue Office manages all fiscal and finacial affairs of New Shropshire.  This includes taxation, budgets, and spending.

It is led by the Secretary for the Treasury.
